The revolutionary Knight Trainer allows players to
learn, improve and perfect badminton skills far faster
than in the past, and frees coaches to concentrate on
teaching and coaching.
Learn: Dramatically accelerate the beginner’s learning
curve for all ages with the Knight Trainer. Simulate
any shot consistently and repeatedly, allowing
beginners to concentrate on coordination and technique
with the shuttle arriving in the same spot, shot after
shot.
Coaches don’t have to double as shot feeders, but can
do what is most important – observe their students,
coach and teach.
Improve: Players can improve accuracy, consistency and
technique with a uniform feed of any shot. Coaches can
objectively measure improvement, using the consistency
of the Knight Trainer to measure players’ success
percentages for various shots.
Train against smashes, drives, fast drops, slow drops,
net shots, clears, short serves, long serves, smash
returns and more, all fed consistently, shot after
shot.
Perfect: Elite players can perfect every shot in their
repertoire, and expand that repertoire. Push players’
reflexes with drives and smashes at a rate of more
than 2 per second, or set a slower frequency to allow
time for players to prepare and execute a wide range
of shots. Set up two machines in series in order to
feed opposite shots – for example, a clear to the
forehand followed seconds later by a smash to the
backhand, each shot consistently repeated while the
player perfects the tightness and placement of the
returns.

The versatile Knight Trainer is easy to transport and
store, and can feed both feather and nylon
shuttlecocks, with a wide range of positions and
settings. It will be sold with 3 feeding tubes that
hold 50 shuttles each. Additional feeding tubes will
be available as an option. Feeding tubes are fast and
easy to switch.
Coaches can manually vary shots vertically or
horizontally while the player trains.
Players can train solo with the Knight Trainer. If a
court is available, but a sparring partner is not,
then the Knight Trainer is the solution. The
motivated player working alone can practice all
possible shots.
A remote on/off control allows the player or coach to
start and pause firing from anywhere on the court, and
to vary velocity and frequency.

Settings
Height and angle: The firing point can be set anywhere
between 54” and 82”. An optional stand will allow a
lower firing point.
At any height the shot angle can easily be varied to
allow a range of shots from sharply angled smashes to
soaring clears or serves.
Firing frequency can be set at any rate between 2.5
shuttlecocks per second and 1 shuttlecock per 16.5
seconds. At its maximum frequency, the Knight Trainer
will challenge the fastest reflexes. Slowed down to
the desired rate, the Knight Trainer allows time for
players to set up and mentally prepare for the next
shot, or even to mix in shadow play and court movement
routines.
Velocity can vary from the most delicate of net shots
to challenging smashes.
Calibrations: All settings are calibrated so that they
can be noted and quickly set up again at other times.
Working together: Two machines can be connected so as
to feed alternately, at the desired interval, each
machine set up for a different shot.
